CHEN BO, Chevening Scholar, PhD Tutor, Associate Professor of CUFE and Director ofDigital Finance Research Center(DFRC).
He holds a PhD in Economics at Renmin University of China and two master degrees in Carbon Finance at University of Edinburgh (Chevening Scholar) and Control Engineering at Zhejiang University. He has abundant experiences both in academy and industry. He worked in ERI, NDRC for three years and was involved in many national research programs in climate change and economics. Before that he worked in SK E&S, Seoul as an energy investment manager.
Dr. Chen serves as a project review expert of the CDM Center of the Ministry of Finance, a senior expert at the Beijing Finance and Economics Research Base, a member of the Shenzhen Financial Standards Technical Committee, an executive member of the China Computer Federation (CCF) Open Source Development Committee, and the leader of the Open Islands Open Source Community Data Assets Working Group. Member of the Tracking and Traceability Standards Working Group of the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Commerce (UN/CEFACT). He has also served as the deputy director of the Bay Area International Financial Technology Laboratory, the deputy secretary-general of the Shenzhen Financial Technology Association, and the chief expert of education and training of the Open Atom Open Source Foundation.
Academic achievements: He presided over more than 30 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Beijing Municipal Social Science Foundation, and international cooperation projects. He has published 2 monographs and 1 textbook, and published more than 20 articles in academic journals such as SSCI, SCI, CSSCI, and EI. His first author paper was selected as a highly cited paper by ESI, and he has won a number of national invention patents and software copyrights. He serves as a reviewer for journals including Frontiers in Environmental Science (SCI), as well as Journal of Environmental Planning and Management (SSCI), PEDIATRICS (SCI), Infection and Drug Resistance (SCI), Asian Journal of Psychiatry (SCI), PLOS ONE (SCI/SSCI). In recent years, his work has been included in OECD, UNEP-GDFA, etc.
