2024年10月24日，韦德体育官方网站留學生Workshop(第12期)成功舉辦。區域經濟學專業的四名二年級留學生分享了自己的研究計劃：哈龍展示了關于《發展中國家财政分權與碳排放的實證研究：制度與人力資本的作用》的研究；羅麗塔探讨了《“一帶一路”倡議下影響中國與基裡巴斯農業貿易的因素》；王佳樂分析了《城市發展對收入不平等的影響：以尼日利亞拉各斯為例》；特雷沙研究了《宏觀經濟不确定性對市場收益的影響：以津巴布韋證券交易所上市公司為例》。

劉倩、李珊珊和闫昊生三位導師出席了本次活動，并為學生的研究方案提供了寶貴的學術反饋，幫助他們進一步完善研究計劃，增強了對研究目标和方法論的理解。在主講人分享之後，與會學生們提出了有啟發性的問題，并展開了熱烈的讨論。本次活動是研究院提升留學生學術能力的系列活動之一，也是韦德体育官方网站國際學生教育的重要組成部分，将在提升國際學生教育質量方面發揮重要作用。

On October 24th, 2024, the Institute of Finance and Economic Research (IFER) at CUFE hosted a Student Workshop, offering second-year Master’s students a platform to present their research progress and approaches. Four students from the Regional Economics program participated: HAROON, who presented his research on the Empirical Examination of Fiscal Decentralization and Carbon Emissions in Developing Countries: The Roles of Institutions and Human Capital; RITA, who explored the Factors Influencing China-Kiribati Agricultural Trade under the Belt and Road Initiative; CALEB, who examined theEffect of Urban Growth on Income Inequality: A Case Study of Lagos, Nigeria; and THERESA, who analyzed The Effects of Macroeconomic Uncertainty on Market Returns: A Case of Listed Companies on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE).

The event was graced by the presence of three supervisors—Liu Qian,Li ShanShan, and Yan Haosheng—who provided valuable academic feedback, helping students refine their research proposals and strengthen their understanding of research goals and methodologies. Following the presentations, a lively Q&A sessionensued, with students raising thought-provoking questions that sparked further discussion.
