2024年10月17日,韦德体育官方网站成功舉辦了留學生工作坊(第11期)。來自區域經濟學專業的兩名二年級留學生展示了他們的研究計劃。拉比雅介紹了她題目為“告密者的困境:企業迷宮中可持續報告保證之戰”的研究。随後,翁燕惠就“人工智能對中國不同省份失業的影響”進行了展示。趙國欽副研究員、闫昊生副教授、張葉青助理教授出席了活動并對學生們的研究計劃給予了建設性意見幫助其完善研究目标和方法。演講結束後的問答環節,師生們熱烈讨論了從方法論、所展示研究的現實影響、治理在可持續發展中的作用以及人工智能對區域經濟的變革力量等話題。本次活動是研究院提升留學生學術能力的系列活動之一,為學生提供了寶貴的反饋機會,促進了師生間的學術情誼,是韦德体育官方网站國際學生教育的重要組成部分,将在提高國際學生教育質量方面發揮重要作用。

On October 17th 2024, the Institute of Finance and Economic Research (IFER)ofCentral University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) hosted a highly anticipated Student Workshop, providing Master's students with a valuable platform to present their research approaches and progress. The event was well-attended by faculty members and students eager to engage in academic discourse. Two second-year students from the Regional Economics programshowedthe depth and diversity of their research. Rabia Arshad presented her thought-provoking study titled "The Whistleblower's Dilemma: The Battle for Sustainable Reporting Assurance in a Corporate Maze." Priscilla Fayline followed with a comprehensive presentation on the "Impact of AI on the Unemployment of Different Provinces in China," The workshop was further enriched by the presence of three professors—Zhao Guoqin, Zhang Yeqing, and Yan Haosheng—who offered insightful academic feedback. Their constructive comments not only helped the students refine their research objectives and methodologies but also expanded the students' understanding of broader academic debates in their fields. A lively and engaging Q&A session followed the presentations. Fellow students posed a variety of thought-provoking questions, sparking discussions that ranged from methodological approaches to the real-world implications of the presented research. This collaborative environment encouraged further reflection on key themes, such as the role of governance in sustainability and the transformative power of AI on regional economies. Overall, the workshop was a success, providing students with an invaluable opportunity to receive feedback and fostering intellectual growth and academic camaraderie.
